New Contemporary Fashion Brand “Walnutte” Launches With Limited Edition Collection of Luxury Scarves

From Walnutte’s design studio in Vancouver, Canada, creative director Roshena Minnes collaborated with acclaimed New York City architect-photographer Justin Huang on a series of reflections-themed images that serve as the basis of the four-piece collection of luxury scarves. Minnes exclaims, “We’re thrilled to offer women a new option in luxury scarves, one that helps them express their vibrant personality, create a polished appearance, and feel confident in taking on the world.” Walnutte scarves are printed on the finest silk chiffon using advanced technology to produce vibrant colour statements. Walnutte embraces the idea of scarcity creating value, producing only 500 pieces of each design. Minnes explains, “We treat our scarves as art prints. Each one arrives at its new home somewhere in the world with proof of authenticity. We limit the number of scarves that we produce in each design, so our customer knows that she is wearing something special.”
For Minnes, it was an experimental hobby art project that blossomed into this exciting opportunity to share her colourful design aesthetic with other women. “I’ve always loved to create, and as one of my creative projects I decided to paint large sheets of silk charmeuse. I wore the silk as scarves and encountered so many women who connected with what I was creating.” She left behind her career in consulting to pursue a new dream. “Is there a more fulfilling job in the world than to make people happy?”
