New Direction IRA Launches Technology to Help Clients Pay IRA-Held Real Estate Bills Faster
Louisville, Colorado (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- New Direction IRA launched a new, quicker bill pay system this quarter for clients with real estate assets in their IRAs.
The new system features updated technology and provides clients easier access to account information. New Direction IRA President Catherine Wynne said the new system is designed to help clients more effectively manage their self-directed IRA assets.
“In our ten years of providing administration for IRAs, the most common client request was for more control over and faster processing of bills for their IRA-owned property,” Wynne said.
The new online bill pay system, part of the recently launched myDirection® online client portal, gives New Direction IRA clients the ability to request payment of invoices and bills. New Direction IRA responds to these requests by issuing checks to the vendor and payment details to the account holder, who can keep the documentation and see online when the funding is sent.
The updated services are part of New Direction IRA’s larger effort to streamline the real estate investment process for IRA account holders.
“We are excited to be able to provide this service and to provide it at no charge. It is the next step in New Direction IRA ‘s leadership in the technology leader for self-directed IRAs,” Wynne said.
Wynne added that as New Direction IRA implements better technology, they can continue to distill the complicated administrative procedures that the IRS requires of self-directed IRAs to a platform that is easy for clients to operate and understand.
“We’re working to make alternative IRA investments as easy as the mainstream IRA investments,” Wynne said.
In addition to the online client portal and the new bill pay system, New Direction IRA has recently programmed many of its forms to be filled out online, including an account open application, significantly reducing the time it takes for clients to do what they need to do. In the coming weeks, New Direction IRA will add several client support features on its website, http://www.NewDirectionIRA.com, including a chat feature which enables account holders and prospective clients to chat with a real client representative.
