New England Franchise Association Announces Franchise Symposium
BOSTON, MA (PRWEB) April 23, 2015 -- The New England Franchise Association (NEFA) has announced the details of its next symposium for franchisors as well as new and prospective franchise owners.
The “You're a Franchisee, Now What?” event will take place on the campus of Babson College in Wellesley, MA on June 9, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program will include a lunch buffet and scheduled networking opportunities.
NEFA is a Franchise Business Network affiliate of the International Franchise Association (IFA) with a mission of bringing franchise executives, franchisees and suppliers together to share ideas for success.
The focus of the panel discussion will be the common concerns of franchisors and franchisees during the first year of the relationship including: Training, Grand Opening, Marketing, and On-Going Support.
The list of speakers and panelists includes Don Casey, Operations Manager at Meineke, Jay Hummer, President at Firmitas Brands, Scott Colwell, President at Carvel, Inc., Mitch Cohen, the Co-Chair of the Dunkin Donuts Baskin & Robbins Community Foundation, and Leslie Charm, Senior Lecturer at Babson College.
“Our speakers’ wide range of franchise experience will ensure a healthy discussion that will be pertinent to franchisors of all maturity levels and to new or prospective franchisees,” said Kim Vezina Woods, President of NEFA. “In particular, young franchise brands will learn how to support their first franchisees and the Babson college students who attend will be able to see the next steps after buying a franchise.”
