New Forest Spa Shortlisted For International Award
(PRWEB UK) 28 April 2014 -- The five star spa, SenSpa, at Careys Manor Hotel in Brockenhurst, Hampshire, has been named a finalist at the World Luxury Spa Awards 2014.
The multi-award winning Thai spa reached the finals in the reputable category of ‘Best Luxury Hotel Spa’ for the second year running.
The World Luxury Spa Awards announced the results of their shortlist on Tuesday 25th March; a proud moment for SenSpa who stood equally amongst internationally renowned luxury hotel spas and health clubs.
SenSpa Spa Director Lina Lotto said: “We extend a huge thank you to everyone who voted for SenSpa, we always have fantastic support from our dedicated spa-goers when given the chance to add to our already extensive list of accolades.
“This is the second year running that SenSpa has been named a Finalist in the World Luxury Spa Awards – a very high honour from the industry’s biggest and finest names.”
SenSpa, located at the four star Careys Manor Hotel in the heart of the New Forest National Park was named in the voting list amongst spas in Singapore, Costa Rica, Thailand and the USA, to name a few, and was successfully nominated for the shortlist by a global panel of independent spa consultants.
The World Luxury Hotel and Spa Awards endeavour to recognise and thank the luxury spa industry with an ‘aim to encourage & raise service standards’ globally.
In their words they are, ‘established as the world’s leading Awards initiative for Luxury Spas and are presented to luxury spas in 14 different categories on a country and global basis.'
During the nominations and voting processes, the judging of all spas is purely based on service excellence; its location or size does not affect a spas chance of winning or of being shortlisted.
The quintessentially English manor house that is Careys Manor Hotel is delighted that SenSpa can represent Hampshire and the United Kingdom, the award may be a welcome addition to the hotel and spa’s extensive list of accolades collected since the spa’s opening a decade ago.
In 2013 SenSpa reached the shortlist in the category of ‘Best Luxury Resort Spa’, and this year the spa fought the list of international luxury hotel spas to the finals in the category of ‘Best Luxury Hotel Spa’.

This latest nomination follows the popular hotel spa’s already successful year, after SenSpa’s very own Senior Therapist won ‘Therapist of the Year’ and the Nourishing Body Wash from SenSpa’s new Body Therapy Range was named ‘Best Shower Gel’ at the Beauty Shortlist Awards 2014.
