New Found Life of Delray Beach is Supporting Programs at The Bridge Way School through a Donation
Delray Beach, FL (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- New Found Life of Delray Beach is pleased to announce a donation to The Bridge Way School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Bridge Way School, Philadelphia’s first high school supporting students in their recovery, offers innovative counseling and education programs.
After a recent visit to The Bridge Way School, founders of New Found Life of Delray Beach Michael Watt and Saul Kane elected to support the programs of the school through a donation. As a private high school, traditional federal, state, and local funding is not available, and private donations, grants, sponsorships are required.
“We were both so impressed with the facilities, staff, and students we met on our recent trip to The Bridge Way School. Maintaining sobriety is a challenge, regardless of age; however, high school students have special challenges and need additional support and we are thrilled to be in a position to support their mission,” says Saul Kane.
Devin Reaves, counselor at The Bridge Way School, says, “We are excited that New Found Life of Delray Beach is supporting teens in recovery. I am glad they recognize the need for addiction counseling for young, impressionable teens finding their way in their new sober life.”
New Found Life of Delray Beach offers adults rehab and sober living programs that focus on creating healthy substance free lifestyles. Through gender specific programs residents are encouraged to dive into the root of their addiction while developing relapse prevention strategies for the future.
The donation from New Found Life of Delray Beach to The Bridge Way School will help the school to continue to support recovering teens as their earn their high school diploma.
“Our hope is that through our donation, more students that are struggling with recovery find the resources and support they need through this meaningful educational program,” says Michael Watt.
