New Glamping Resort Hosts Live Music and Rodeo at Utah's Bear Lake on Summer Weekends
GARDEN CITY, UTAH (PRWEB) June 16, 2015 -- Conestoga Ranch, a new glamping resort overlooking Bear Lake’s turquoise-colored waters, presents a line up of high caliber performers to entertain guests, visitors and locals on Friday evenings throughout the summer. Performances are free and will be held fireside by the Main Lodge on Fridays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the enjoyment of Campfire Grill diners and live music enthusiasts. Guests are welcome to bring chairs and blankets and may purchase meals and refreshments from the Campfire Grill and General Store.
Conestoga Ranch will also be the home to Bear Lake Rodeo, which promises to be a lively spectacle for audiences of all ages on Saturday evenings, beginning July 4 at 7 p.m. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $8 for adults; $5 for kids 12 and older; Under 3 is free. A mechanical bull will provide additional entertainment for those looking to test their skills.
“Our goal with live music and the rodeo is to create an atmosphere that enhances the camping – or glamping – experience and the beautiful natural soundings,” says Tom Hedges one of five partners involved in developing Conestoga Ranch. “We are creating an authentic, casual gathering place for locals and visitors seeking family-friendly entertainment and dining in the Bear Lake area.”
The concert season kicks off July 3 and 4 with Sammy Brue, a 14 year-old Folk/Americana sensation that Rolling Stone magazine hails as a “prodigy” and “best new youngster.” The special July 4th engagement will take place 5 to 7 p.m. preceding the rodeo.
