New Historical Biography Sketches Portrait of the Goddess Inanna
OWLS HEAD, Maine (PRWEB) December 09, 2016 -- The late Sandra Bart Heimann wrote “The Biography of Goddess Inanna; Indomitable Queen of Heaven, Earth and Almost Everything: Her Story is Women’s Story” (published by Balboa Press) as a way to share the knowledge gained from her decade-long study of the Sumerian goddess of love, war and renewal.
The biography chronicles Inanna from the beginning of her rise to power, through her devolution and her eventual triumphant return to glory. Heimann offers myths and poetry written about Inanna, and discusses the meanings behind the symbols associated with the goddess.
Joelle Bart, Heimann’s daughter, describes the book as relevant to women because of “the treatment of women in America and around the world … (it) will remind you of the strength in the Indomitable Queen of Heaven.”
