New Hosted Vacations in New York City

A second hosted program is planned for Thanksgiving week, November 22-26. The 4-night tour is centered on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and features a guided visit on Wednesday to the site where the parade begins to take shape – and the signature giant balloons are inflated. This area tends to get very crowded but NYCVP’s experience, having run this tour for many years, insures that tour participants avoid the congestion.
Guests also can enjoy the Thursday morning Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade after a breakfast at a nearby restaurant. They can use the venue as their “home” during the parade to get warm, grab a coffee or hot chocolate, or just relax for a few minutes. The facility is just a half block from the giant balloons, floats and bands that highlight the 2-hour march down 6th Avenue. Late in the afternoon they’re invited to a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner, followed by a leisurely motorcoach tour of the City’s famed department store windows.
Also included in this hosted vacation are accommodations at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel, a visit to the Statue of Liberty, a Broadway show, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, many meals, all escorted throughout by an NYCVP host.
