New Inn Opens in the Historic District of Tubac, Arizona Just 40 Minutes South of Tucson

The Poston House Inn, former home of Arizona pioneer Charles Poston, is comprised of several authentic adobe buildings including four en suite rooms, a sunny breakfast room, lounge and reception area. Charles Poston was a dreamer, visionary, tireless promoter and dynamic entrepreneur. Affectionately known as the “Father of Arizona” Poston arrived in Tubac as the Gadsden Purchase was being ratified, with Southern Arizona becoming part of the United States. In 1885 Poston built his adobe house next to the old Spanish Presidio and began his legacy by forming the Sonora Mining and Exploration Company.
