The brand-new subscription model includes everything that makes InstallAware X6 great. Any time the InstallAware X6 IDE is launched, developers authenticate using their subscription reference number. Any time developers build a setup, whether from the command line or from the IDE, InstallAware automatically authenticates the developer’s subscription. As long as an Internet connection is available, the InstallAware Subscription experience is indistinguishable from a perpetual InstallAware license.

Setups may be distributed even after the expiration of a subscription. Once a setup has been built, the status of a developer’s subscription has absolutely no bearing on its validity or legitimacy; ensuring developers are afforded the maximum flexibility in renewing and cancelling their subscriptions.
