New Jersey Law Firm Presents “Real Heroes” Award to Willingboro Officer: Officer James Manson Won Award for Saving Infant’s Life

Marlton, NJ (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- A respected Willingboro, NJ, police officer received Console & Hollawell’s “Real Heroes Wear Badges, Not Capes” award on Wednesday, January 16, 2014. Officer James Manson is a 19-year veteran of the force who, in May 2013, saved the life of an unresponsive infant by performing CPR from the moment he arrived on the scene all the way to the hospital. Today, that baby boy is alive and healthy, thanks to Manson’s efforts.

“The reason behind the ‘Real Heroes Wear Badges, Not Capes’ project was to honor first responders for the work they do,” said Richard P. Console, managing partner of Console & Hollawell. “Working in personal injury law, we try to help people, but we can’t do what first responders like Officer Manson do when they save lives. They make a huge impact, and they deserve to be recognized for their service and dedication.”

This is the first year for the “Real Heroes Wear Badges, Not Capes” project, which Console & Hollawell first launched in November 2013. Individuals from across South Jersey and the Philadelphia Metro region nominated a dozen community first responders for the award, which comprised $500 of personal prize money and a $500 community donation to the local cause of the winner’s choice.
