New Life House Announces the Launch of their New Hats & Hoodies with 100% of the Proceeds from Sales Helping Young Men and Women Afford the Price of Recovery
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- New Life House Sober Living is taking their community living paradigm of “No Brother Left Behind” into the community, demonstrating that sobriety is fun, being of service is cool & tough has a softer side! The LOVE {love outreach volunteer educate} Movement is officially underway with the launch of their line of hats and hoodies. 100% of the profit goes towards scholarships for guys and girls who are not able to afford the full price of recovery.
Many people associate recovery from drugs and alcohol with self-important celebrities and the entitled rich – or – the flip side of down-and-out men living on the streets in trench coats. Neither of these ideas is an absolute. The young men who currently live or have lived at NLH do not fit these trendy stereotypes.
These are the boys next door who grew up with all the ingredients for a happy and prosperous life, yet their alcohol and drug use went from experimental to out-of-control. NLH men want to share the good fortune they have found in sobriety with others like them. There is so much help out there through non-profits for the addict who has nothing or the addict with everything but not much in the middle for the average young adult.
Each of the New Life House Sober Living & Drug Rehab Aftercare Centers in Los Angeles are 12 Step-based where house members are taught to identify character defects, take responsibility for their actions, and learn how to 'live life on life's terms' - not their own.
We understand that quality sobriety requires a life change, not just stopping drug abuse or alcohol abuse. In turn, our house members are able to not only achieve long-term sobriety, but also become happy, healthy, and functional members of society.
Spread the LOVE! Join the movement by purchasing hats and hoodies and help someone get a second chance at life!
