New Lifetime Warranty on Versatex PVC Exterior Trim Adds Value for Contractors and Homeowners
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 06, 2015 -- “For almost a dozen years, VERSATEX has performed so exceptionally well all over the country — even in harsh environments like the Florida and New England coasts — that we felt it was time to make a statement about our confidence in everything we manufacture,” said Rick Kapres, Versatex Vice President for Sales and Marketing. “That’s why we’re extending our original warranty, already one of the strongest in the industry, from 30 years to the life of the product, and making it fully transferrable to second homeowners as well.”
The new warranty applies to the complete line of VERSATEX products, he said. “Builders and distributors already know that our trimboards, mouldings, column wraps and other easy-to-install components deliver long-lasting curb appeal with zero painting or maintenance. Our aim now is to give them, and the ultimate end-user at home, an even deeper sense of security in choosing VERSATEX.”
Mr. Kapres added that the lifetime limited warranty will apply to all VERSATEX products installed after Aug. 1, 2015, and comes at no added cost to the distributor or contractor. He noted that products installed before Aug. 1 will retain their original 30-year warranty coverage. The new warranty provides coverage against manufacturing defects that could cause delamination, decay, rot, corrosion or excessive swelling “for as long as you own the product,” he said.
According to Mr. Kapres, Versatex will be sending warranty support information to its distributor network during the first week in August. He said that the company has already published full warranty-policy details at http://www.versatex.com.
