New Local Home Cleaning Service Business Opens Just in Time for Spring Cleaning

Before joining the Window Genie team, Stocker spent 20 years in corporate finance helping entrepreneurial companies develop and implement strategies for growth. He said, “My favorite part of the job was having direct interaction with the business owners and contributing to their success. In the fall of 2013 he and his partners sold their company. At that point he decided it was time to strike out on his own.
Stocker chose to look into franchising rather than pursuing a start-up because, “franchising allows for entrepreneurial bootstrapping while mitigating many of the risks that come along with a true stand-alone start-up. A franchise’s proven system and tested infrastructure made it an attractive option for me because I could be my own boss and be in business for myself, but never by myself.”
Stocker worked with Rob McCauley, a franchise coach at The You Network. Together they were able to determine the best franchise opportunities that aligned with Stocker’s strengths, goals, interests and values. Window Genie was among the options presented to Stocker, and really stood out to him. After conducting a meeting via Skype with the corporate office in Cincinnati and speaking with existing Window Genie franchise owners, Stocker knew Window Genie was the right decision for him. He said, “I made my decision to purchase a Window Genie in February 2014 after vetting several home services franchises. What attracted me to Window Genie over the other concepts I vetted was the professionalism and culture of the corporate staff and the success that other new franchisees were experiencing with the system.”
Stocker is excited to open his doors for business and begin building relationships and networking in his community. “What most excites me about owing my own Window Genie franchise is the ability to leverage a proven business model while having total control over my schedule and company culture.
