New Mexico Legal Group Adds Family Law Specialist Twila B. Larkin To Its Divorce and Family Law Division
Albuquerque, NM (PRWEB) February 19, 2016 -- New Mexico Legal Group, P.C. has hired Twila B. Larkin, formerly of Sutin, Thayer and Browne, as the newest attorney to join their divorce and family law division. Ms. Larkin brings vast legal experience to the firm with a career that has spanned nearly two decades. She has been a certified family law specialist since 2001, and a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 2006. She practices exclusively in the area of divorce and family law, which includes divorce, custody, time sharing, child support, alimony, and the division of complex assets. She is a founding member of the Albuquerque Collaborative Practice Group, and has extensive experience providing services to clients in the area of collaborative divorce.
Ms. Larkin is a graduate of the New Mexico School of Law, and is heavily involved in the local legal community. She provides volunteer, pro-bono legal services to military veterans, and lends a hand in many other pro-bono law events, like the Peter H Johnstone Day, which allows divorcing couples to receive free settlement facilitation in pending divorce cases. Ms. Larkin is also the incoming president of the Rotary Club of Albuquerque.
Outside of the practice of law, Ms. Larkin enjoys playing golf and international travel, which has taken her to far flung destinations like Italy, Alaska, and the Caribbean. Recently she celebrated her thirtieth wedding anniversary with a trip to Australia with her husband Michael. Her oldest son Drew will graduate from the University of New Mexico School of Law in May of this year.
