About the Managing Director
Tim Chalus, CPA, Managing Director of S.D. Daniels & Co. P.C., Miami, joined the firm to spearhead The SDDCO Group’s South Florida operation and to provide regional broker-dealers and investment advisers with onsite professional services in the areas of accounting, regulatory compliance, and FinOp reporting. He brings over fifteen years of financial industry experience and honed leadership skills to his new role.
Formerly, Mr. Chalus acted as Co-CEO and CFO-FinOp for Brevan Howard’s U.S. broker-dealer and Head of Finance for their U.S. investment adviser. Earlier on, he served as Senior Finance Manager and Sarbanes Oxley Implementation Manager at RR Donnelley, and he began his career at the CPA firm, McGladrey & Pullen.
A certified public accountant, Mr. Chalus also holds multiple FINRA licenses: Financial and Operations Principal (Series 27), General Securities Principal (Series 24), and General Securities Representative (Series 7). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Financial Accounting at Illinois State University.
