New Mobile App Helps People Navigate a No Barriers Life
Vienna, VA (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- NT Concepts and the No Barriers Summit team leveraged Guidebook to create a powerful mobile application that provides up-to-date agendas, tracks and organizes clinic schedules, integrates social media apps, and personalizes an attendee’s scheduling for the 2015 No Barriers Summit event held in Park City, Utah.
"Using Guidebook at the 2015 No Barriers Summit is going to change the way we interact with 1000 participants, clinic providers, exhibitors, speakers, and staff,” said No Barriers Summit Director Sara Kaner. “Thanks to the time and dedication of the NT Concepts team, the No Barriers Summit Guide will be fun and functional, exactly what we need for the No Barriers Summit!"
The 2015 No Barriers Summit, a four-day outdoor event for people of all ages and abilities, brings together scientists, inventors, academics, practitioners, and end-users to “challenge your conception of what is possible.” The Summit is about community, innovation, discovery, and exploration, and combines hands-on clinics, product demonstrations, outdoor excursions, films, art, music, keynote addresses, leadership exercises, and symposia. Attendees can use the mobile app to follow No Barriers on Twitter, live Tweet during special events, post pictures of their clinic experiences to Facebook, share feedback on their clinic experiences, and sign up to “Take the Pledge!”
NT Concepts project lead Luke Warner commented on the Guidebook design experience: “Guidebook made mobile design simple and easy to use, I suggest this system for your organization’s next event.”

About No Barriers
No Barriers USA was formed in 2005 by a group of friends with a passion for recreation in the natural world. They created a nonprofit organization based on the assumption that each person, regardless of age, state of mind or physical condition, has a thirst for adventure and a hope for the future that is worthy of igniting. Their inaugural program was a biennial summit featuring innovative technologies that enabled people with and without disabilities to envision a full and active life. The No Barriers Mindset is the realization that individuals can build the vision, tools and support systems to attack challenges head on, break through them, and create a life rich in fulfillment, purpose and impact. Mindsets are difficult to teach and even harder to embrace, which is why No Barriers believes in authentic immersion experiences that push individuals outside of their comfort zones, challenging them intellectually, emotionally or physically.
