New Not-For-Profit Organization, La Asociación de Panameños Mundial, Launched To Unite Panamanian Citizens Around the World to Support & Defend Democracy in Panama
Miami, FL (PRWEB) July 17, 2015 -- The new not-for-profit organization, La Asociación de Panameños Mundial (the World Panamanian Association), today announced its official launch with the goal of uniting all Panamanian citizens abroad with their countrymen and women who live in Panama for the purpose of supporting and defending democracy and justice in the country.
“We are dedicated to supporting the just causes that benefit our country and our people. As well, we must fight against corruption and speak up against wrong-doings that may threaten the Panamanian nation,” said Reverend Fermin Castaneda. “To keep our native land prospering, we must have democracy. To have a true democracy, there can be no corruption.”
The World Panamanian Association has established an extensive online presence on social media channels and will soon be unveiling its new website at PanamenosUnidos.com with the goal of bringing together Panamanians across the glove to foster cooperation on democratic values, defend common interests and share information on the major issues facing the country for the purposes of strengthening democracy, promoting human rights, and confronting shared problems such as corruption. The organization fights corruption in a number of ways: by promoting transparency in government, in public administration, and in the country’s business sector via the dissemination and sharing of information as well as the positive exchange of opinions.
The aim of the World Panamanian Association is to promote the growth of:

-- A Panama with a government whose sole aim it is to protect and serve its country and its people
-- A country where God given rights are respected and not abused by its leaders
