New Novel Addresses Moral, Financial, Spiritual Bankruptcy

DiClementi’s recently completed fictional novel entitled “Laowai for Sale,” (published by Xlibris) was written in the genre of realistic fiction, first-person omniscient. He believes that this book addresses the moral, financial and spiritual bankruptcy of the American people.
This story follows the experiences of four men who have been gripped with the realization that American politicians are incapable of administering their individual affairs or the affairs of their fellow human beings with justice and equality that arises out of selfless humanitarian concern. Through their experiences as teachers, the four men have learned from their students that love is the only answer to the dilemmas that beset the affairs of men and nations. They come to know and love China, not as the villain it has been portrayed to be by career Washington bureaucrats, but as a model for society that begins with a foundation anchored in the cohesive fabric of the nuclear family.

About the Author
Kurt M. DiClementi’s academic background is in education and psychology. He has a B.A. in linguistics and psychology and an M.A. in rhetoric from Northeastern Illinois University. He has spent most of his professional life teaching or working as an administrator in the education field. He has long held a love and admiration for poetry. His poems are published in an anthology entitled the “World’s Best Loved Poems.” He lives just outside the city of Chicago, where he grew up and worked most of his life. He is currently working on an unreleased volume of his poetry and his next novel.
