New Novel Creates Immersive World of Super Geniuses
Coral Gables, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2014 -- While many modern novels rely on characters with super-human strength, magic or ties to a mythical creature, author Neil Flanzraich gives the heroes and villains of his novel an extraordinary level of humanity’s most distinguishing feature, their intelligence.
“When I read the “Harry Potter” books with my sons, I thought they were wonderful,” Flanzriach said. “I decided to create a world in which there are some people with hyper-intelligence and fantastical mental abilities, like telepathy and telekinesis.”
Flanzraich’s new novel, “Geniuses,” describes a world in which a small number of super geniuses live among the rest of us, concealing their special abilities. For thousands of years good Western Geniuses have been opposing evil Eastern Geniuses who want to control and dominate ordinary people. We see how those super geniuses have impacted world history. For example, they guided the building of the ancient Egyptian pyramids and they influenced the outcome of World War II.
The novel is a sci-fi global adventure set in modern times. It deals with a range of contemporary issues from terrorism and a Russia-like country’s wars against its neighbors to bullying in a modern high school, and the generation gap between parents and teenage children.

About the author
Neil Flanzraich’s parents were European immigrants in New York City, and he married Dr. Kira Flanzraich, a Russian immigrant herself. When his two sons were young he would often create fairy-tales for them. He has now written and published this fantasy novel. He has a bachelor’s and law degree from Harvard University, is currently the chairman and CEO of a biotech company, and is a member of the boards of two public companies. He currently resides with his wife in Coral Gables, Florida.
