New Novel Tells of How One’s Life, Dreams Are ‘Connected by Angels’
(PRWEB) January 23, 2015 -- While on a trip to Las Vegas with her friends, Copper Shy crossed paths with a Lady Gaga impersonator so many times that she began to wonder why. After looking into her life, Shy found that their passion for art and music are in parallel to each other. Not only that, but Lady Gaga’s birth date coincided with that of her grandmother’s. This trend of matching birthdates continues with the rest of their respective families. For these reasons, she cannot help but think that they are somehow “Connected by Angels” (published by Xlibris).
This book is about Sunny Ledder, who was born six days before Elvis Presley's death. Drawn to music and fame, Ledder was inspired to live out her rock star dreams by her grandmother Pat Bell, who was highly talented and ambitious in music and her creativity. But when Ledder falls in love, she loses sight of her dreams. Over the course of 15 years, her relationship turns toxic and, with the help of angels, she again follows her heart for the love of music.
“I think that everyone has a dream in life that we all want to reach for, and then life knocks us off the path,” says Shy. “Sometimes, it takes the help of angels to get us back on track.”
In reading her novel, Shy hopes that her readers, much like Ledder in the story, will be inspired to follow their heart, watch for signs on the roads that they travel in the quest for their dreams.
