New On-Demand Presentation from SAE International Explores Role of Model-Based Design in Reliability and Quality
(PRWEB) June 17, 2015 -- SAE International offers a free, on-demand presentation that explains how model-based design does not contradict safety goals but, in fact, increases reliability and quality.
“Model-Based Design for Development of Highly Complex Embedded Software,” is a 20-minute program sponsored by dSPACE that examines the efficient use of model-based design, automatic production code generation, and model-based testing to develop software with great ease
Model-based design, automatic code generation, and model-based testing are being used successfully to develop embedded software for millions of vehicles around the globe, as well as in the aerospace industry to develop airborne software. Time and cost pressures, as well as the complexity and volume of software, require innovative development techniques to be used. Moreover, more product features, such as driver assistance systems, are now safety-critical.
Speaker for the event is Dr. Ulrich Eisemann, Senior Product Manager, dSPACE. Dr. Eisemann is a technical specialist in the area of model-based development and production code generation for embedded systems. He studied electrical engineering at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany and subsequently wrote his doctoral thesis in the field of electronic imaging at the Technical Electronics Institute of the RWTH.
