New Online Platform Serves Attorneys Working in Both Special Needs Planning and Elder Law

Boston, MA (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- A new online platform is now available for the growing number of attorneys who need resources and tools in both elder law and special needs planning, and who have little time and means to manage their online marketing.

The new platform allows those who have memberships in both ElderLawAnswers (ELA) and the Academy of Special Needs Planners (ASNP) to seamlessly toggle between elder law and special needs tools and content -- and for a far lower dual membership price than before.

The results from a recent analysis performed by ELA and ASNP concluded that Elder law attorneys are increasingly expanding their practices to embrace special needs planning, which covers similar law and requires comparable expertise.

Recognizing this overlap, ELA and ASNP have simplified access to their practice and marketing resources, especially for solo practitioners and small firms. Attorneys who choose the new dual membership option will still be listed on the ElderLawAnswers and Special Needs Answers consumer sites, which are the most visited consumer-oriented sites devoted to their fields on the Web. But in addition, dual members will gain easy access to an array of practice development tools and editorial content for both elder law and special needs planning, all on the same Web platform. Dual members will be able to:

  • Send e-letters specifically tailored to elder law and special needs planning to clients and referral sources
  • Build their own Web site in under an hour if they lack the time, money or inclination to work with Web developers
  • Stay on top of case law and other critical developments in both fields through regular e-letters and updates prepared by the ElderLawAnswers and ASNP editorial teams
  • Participate in members-only listservs that directly link them to a community of knowledgeable attorneys who share client situations and strategies
  • Take part in webinars on both elder law and special needs topics, and attend the ASNP Annual National Conference
  • Access the special needs and elder law Knowledge Banks -- searchable databases of case law and practice documents

While attorneys can still opt for individual memberships in either ELA or ASNP, the cost of dual membership will be $250 a month, making it the most cost-effective online resource for firms practicing both elder law and special needs planning. Those who join before December 20, 2013, will pay only $225 a month for the first year.
