New Payments Platform (NPP) Australia Limited Announces Recruitment Campaign via 7 Recruitment for Key Leadership and Management Roles
Sydney, NSW (PRWEB) July 28, 2016 -- NPP Australia limited has today announced its recruitment campaign, as it begins to build its team from the ground up ahead of its new venture.
Newly appointed CEO of NPP – Adrian Lovney is commencing the batch of new hires in conjunction with FinTech specialist recruitment agency 7 Recruitment who are now taking applicants to fill a variety of roles including a General Manager, Technology & Operations (2IC), Legal Counsel / Regulation Manager and Senior Engagement Managers – all of which are leadership and management roles.
These new hires will be working on phase 4 of the New Payments Platform and will be working with the incoming CEO in setting up and building the company in preparation for the platform launch, as well as working closely with the 13 participants within the initiative. The aim is to be able to provide Australian businesses and consumers with a fast, versatile, data-rich payments system for making their everyday payments by the second half of 2017.
Speaking of the recruitment launch Mr Lovney said “There is a substantial level of interest and appetite for the NPP at the moment and we are keen to attract high calibre applicants who want to be part of something ground-breaking and world leading within the payments sector”.
Mr Lovney has recently returned from a business trip to the United Kingdom, spending time with the UK Faster Payments Scheme, which is among the first of the world’s faster payments systems, having commenced in 2008. He noted that NPP Australia is seen as at the forefront of international developments in faster payments, commenting that “Interestingly, all the elements that are now being talked about as possible extensions to the UK payments system (request to pay, ISO20022 data standard, confirmation of payee before payment, and the concept of ‘overlay services’) are all current features of the Australian NPP.”
