New prestige Gap Insurance options announced by leading UK provider Shortfall.co.uk
Wirral, UK (PRWEB UK) 23 April 2014 -- One of the UK's leading Gap Insurance providers has announced a new range of asset protection options for purchasers of high value vehicles. Shortfall.co.uk, Gap Insurance products now contain options for vehicle purchases up to £150,000, as well as providing cover for vehicles often excluded from other providers products in the market.
Mark Griffiths, Director of Aequitas Automotive Ltd the company behind Shortfall.co.uk, explained why the new features have been developed and how they can increase consumer choice.
"The new Shortfall.co.uk Gap Insurance products can now offer cover for any UK supplied vehicle, up to £150,000 in purchase price. This will include cover for manufacturers often excluded from such policies, such as Ferrari and Maserati."
"The new policy features will allow for up to £50,000 claims to be made, in addition to the motor insurers settlement, for policy periods of up to 5 years."
The Aequitas Automotive Director explained why the new options have been included now.
"Our customer services team have seen regular requests for Gap Insurance for vehicles over £100,000. Of course often these products are excluded from independent brands like Shortfall.co.uk, and the only option has often been the supplying motor dealer. Of course this often also sees huge premium prices being charged."

Aequitas Automotive have also announced that the new products will be available on a wholesale platform, available to motor dealer and insurance intermediaries.

We have seen a number of inquiries from motor dealers who either cannot provide such products, or who have restrictive policy terms with their current providers. Aequitas is pleased to confirm that the new products will also be available on our BMPro.co.uk wholesale platform."
The company also confirmed that the higher value Gap Insurance products are available to the general public on the Shortfall.co.uk website with immediate effect.
