New Strategies for Emerging Markets is Focus of Conference at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School
Chapel Hill, N.C. (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- The emerging markets conference “Innovation to Sustain Growth” will be held at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School on Feb. 21.
Organized by and for business students, the conference will convene business and academic experts to examine changing conditions in emerging markets and their expected trajectory, and share strategies that multinational corporations can use to operate and compete effectively.
Jeff Tucker, managing director of Century Bridge Capital, will give the keynote address. Century Bridge is a private equity investment firm with offices in Beijing and Dallas that invests in the Chinese real estate sector by forming joint ventures with Chinese companies to provide equity capital for developing middle class, residential properties in China's Tier II cities. Tucker is a 2000 graduate of the UNC Kenan-Flagler MBA Program.
Conference sessions will focus on:
• Building advanced supply chains to add long-term value
• Attracting, developing and retaining local talent
• Evaluating and executing on opportunity in uncertain environments
• Pricing strategies for new markets and consumers
The conference is open to graduate and undergraduate business students at North Carolina universities as well as any UNC graduate student who expects to work in related areas.
