New Stress Quotient™ Assessment Reveals the Data Behind the Dysfunction
Scottsdale, Ariz., (PRWEB) June 25, 2015 -- Organizations that measure and address workplace stress will reap the benefits of a happier, more productive environment where turnover is low. When the scale of stress and the root causes of stress are revealed, solutions can be created and corrective action can be taken.
Undetected, extreme stress silently erodes the productivity of a company, chipping away at morale – and increasing the chances of high turnover, and low motivation. Because of its elusive nature, leaders lack strategies for addressing stress, let alone resolving and correcting its destructive path. This is why TTI Success Insights, a leader in helping individuals reveal their unique talents and skills through assessment solutions, has created a first-of-its-kind diagnostic tool that examines both individuals’ and an organization’s stress levels called the Stress Quotient™ assessment. Just like emotional intelligence (EQ), the Stress Quotient provides an objective overview to how individuals are reacting to their surroundings.
The Stress Quotient assessment asks a series of questions that help determine if an individual’s stress levels have stretched to unhealthy or extreme levels. It measures seven factors that contribute to stress – including lack of job security and excessive demands from a supervisor – and determines the origin.
Organizations can also look at employees’ assessments collectively and determine if the stress is caused. Stress Quotient measures seven workplace stress factors: demand, efforts/reward balance, control, organization change, manager/supervisor, social support and job security. By identifying the stress severity in each category, leaders are able to determine specific pain points and identify where it can be rectified.
TTI SI has also launched a new site, measureyourstress.com, a resource chalk full of information, statistics and facts about stress as a silent productivity killer. Users are encouraged to read and contribute stories of times they hid stress by using #mystressconfession.
