Liberty’s Launchport system includes a pair of wireless charging pedestals – one tabletop, one wall-mounted – and matching protective iPad protective cases. The case attaches to the pedestal via strong neodymium magnets that provide a secure mounting solution, even if accidentally bumped or knocked; charging begins as soon as the unit is docked, eliminating the need for external cables.
True to STRUT’s luxury automotive heritage, the charging pedestals are hand-crafted from jewelry grade stainless steel and are triple chrome-plated, while the cases are available in a choice of designer finishes.
Konigseder said that the new iPad system was unveiled in Liberty Coach No. 782, a new 2015 Elegant Lady model that was completed in late July. It will be standard equipment on all new Liberty coaches going forward, he added.
