New SVP Marketing and Sales at UMS Banking, Payment Processing Services

Glendale, CA (PRWEB) July 27, 2015 -- UMS Banking, a leader in payment technology and services, has appointed John Lake as Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales. Lake will report to UMS CEO Joyce Gaines and will serve on the company’s Executive Management Committee.

“John Lake is a marketing and sales leader with over 30 years experience in technology markets. He brings valuable knowledge and expertise that will help our company expand in today’s increasingly technology-oriented merchant services market,” said CEO Joyce Gaines. “We are happy to have John on our team, working to strengthen our client and partner relationships and greatly expand our business solutions,” Gaines added.

Lake has been involved in technology marketing since the beginning of the PC revolution in 1983 when he started as a marketing executive with RealWorld Corporation, one of the first developers of pre-packaged accounting software. He was also involved in the beginning of the Internet revolution when in 1995 he joined EarthLink Network and helped that company become one of the country’s largest ISPs. Lake has held marketing and sales leadership positions with a systems software company, and with developers of custom software solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Lake resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife, Christine. They have two grown children.
