New THL Phone Packs Mean Battery Life and Punch for China Phone
Shenzhen, Guangdong (PRWEB) July 22, 2014 -- China phone makers could soon be leading the race against international brands if the latest THL phone is of any indication.
China mobile specialist Chinavasion has just released the THL 5000 phone onto the global market for the first time today. This celebrates the first time a highly-anticipated China phone that has better specifications than top brands has been made available on the market.
If someone was to research the specifications of the world's best known Android phone, they would find a beautiful display covering a quad core processor and a 2400mAh battery, which makers say can keep the phone going for up to 390 hours on standby when it is fully charged.
The cost of owning such a device can appear astronomical or has users tied to needlessly expensive monthly contracts that can last up to two years at a time.
China Android phone makers THL decided this wasn't good enough and have designed a phone which isn't just slim but is also as attractive as the world's most popular Android phone; plus it comes with more processing power and a bigger battery.
With a 5000mAh battery, Rose Li, PR Manager for Chinavasion, the international distributor of THL phones, says the THL 5000 will keep running for an incredible 1000 hours on standby before requiring a recharge or run for 30 hours if it is being used with a 3G signal.
Li says this is impressive considering it runs a high-resolution five-inch screen while being no more than 8.9mm thick, just 0.8 mm thicker than the world's most popular Android phone. She says the phone is a pleasure to hold and use: “Chinese makers haven't ignored aesthetics while building a high-powered device.”
The five-inch phone comes powered with 2GB of RAM and MTK's latest 2GHz Octo-Core processor capable of running Android 4.4 at full speed.
Li says it isn't surprising then that technology watchers like BGR and Phone Arena are salivating over the phone's release.
"Considering how affordable, accessible, and capable smartphones from China are, their popularity doesn't come as a huge surprise," says Li. "Why would anybody pay more than 500 bucks for a named device when the white label product offers more?"
With companies like Chinavasion are offering Android smartphones all around the world, Li says it has never been easier or safer to buy China phones.
