New Track from London Top House Producer

Orlando has teamed up with Kings Cross Media to produce his new music video for the track titled "HOME".

Home is Next Door But One very latest single where out of a gorgeous, swirling synth and melodic piano chorus, with an infectious vocal hook, comes a house beat and chunky bassline that will congest dancefloors anywhere.

Orlando grew up in Reading where he first learned basic piano as a child. As an early raver, his misspent youth involved moving with reggae sound systems before moving to London as a teenager and joining a couple of funk outfits as keyboard player.
In the 90s he started a project called Solid, utilising his eclectic influences on tracks that merged dub, indie and dance. A Solid track 'Outside' was included on indie compliation 'Volume 15' alongside the likes of New Order and the Cocteau Twins. He also co-wrote and sang on a track called 'Are You Satisfied' by Dub Funk Association.
The early noughties saw Orlando getting into hip hop beats with the help of local (south London) rappers but he always wanted to do something a bit different lyrically and musically. This urge led him to create Next Door But One in 2006. One of the early tracks Art of the Matter (original) highlights his originality, combining a uniquely humorous lyric about a struggling artist with a funky disco beat. That track, which has been remixed by a host of dance luminaries, most recently Sonny Wharton, was re-released in 2012.
2013 single Positive Thinking is also disco flavoured with distinctive spoken word element while more recent material embraces 'real' house music and has a more electronic feel.
