New Trust in Leadership Program Announced by Carlton’s Training
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Carlton’s Training has found that the key element demonstrated in the Lou Holtz Do Right program that should stand for all leaders is trust. There are many principles under which great leaders operate. It seems from feedback from colleagues and other leaders that the backbone and foundation for all great leaders and their teams is trust. The Lou Holtz Do Right program embodies so much of what Carlton’s Training has tried to instill in leaders.
Every relationship has to have trust. It sounds too warm and fuzzy or emotional for the workplace. But the workplace is filled with people and people are emotional. They base their decisions on emotions. Who they choose to be with, have children with, where they work are all based on emotions. And if trust is required or is the number one aspect these life altering choices are based upon, then why should it be so surprising people use this very principle at work?
In the Lou Holtz Do Right video so much is discussed. But what it starts with is Holtz’s unwavering trust in his people and how he can show he cares and that he is someone they can trust. After all, careers are often a huge part of dreams. And people hold tight to their dreams. And if they are putting their dreams in the hands of someone they better by God be able to trust them. If they don’t all is lost.
In any Lou Holtz video his sole goal is to determine belief. Do his team members believe they can accomplish their goals? Do they trust him? Do they trust one another? Holtz’s philosophy of WIN, (what’s important now) keeps the team focused and believing in the goal and each other. When a leader is determined, focused and lays out his plan in such a memorable manner, the team can’t help but trust him and follow.
Carlton’s Training has implemented the Lou Holtz Do Right program into their new leadership and trust module because it embodies what trust is about. Holtz’s winning record doesn’t begin to describe his success. It’s speaking to his people years later and hearing what they have to say about him that matters the most.
