Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) May 28, 2015 -- LexisNexis® Legal & Professional today announced the release of a new version of the LexisNexis® Early Data Analyzer software with enhancements which make it easier for eDiscovery teams to manage saved searches, create reports on search results and ultimately save time. The solution decreases the number of files that clients need to electronically process by culling and filtering out as much as 85 percent of non-relevant data, which helps keep the cost of the entire eDiscovery process in control.
“Market research shows 8 in 10 law firms plan to increase spending on culling tools for early case assessment in order to drive down costs,” said Steve Ashbacher, vice president of litigation solutions, part of the LexisNexis software division. “Our efforts continue to focus on developing litigation technology tools that help our customers work more efficiently while keeping eDiscovery costs in check.”
These latest enhancements allow eDiscovery teams to simply group searches into different sets, create customized names for each search set, and more efficiently manage multiple searches simultaneously. In addition, users are now able to produce reports on those individual search sets with streamlined export to PDF or Microsoft Excel format. This update nests neatly with core value of the software – the capability to filter, index and search a staggering volume of data at its source location so that users can determine the nature and amount of relevant data in a lawsuit.
The Early Data Analyzer solution is available to the market as a standalone product or as an integrated module within the LAW PreDiscovery™ solution – an advanced imaging and eDiscovery software application. LexisNexis also introduced a new version of LAW PreDiscovery today, which enables users to scan paper and import electronic files with one, easy-to-use solution. The new productivity features, such as custom placeholders that enable users to more easily set-up and make changes to individual files based on their file type.
LexisNexis Early Data Analyzer and LAW PreDiscovery are most effective when used in conjunction with each other to reduce the cost of assessing, managing and processing discovery data. For more information please visit: http://www.lexisnexis.com/eda.
