(PRWEB) August 01, 2013 -- Barbecana, developer of the “Full Monte” software which adds project Monte Carlo simulation to Microsoft Project, has announced the launch of a fresh, new website, http://www.Barbecana.com.
“This new site is not only visually compelling,” says CEO Welsh, “It is a useful guide to the value of cost and schedule risk analysis. The site is clean, simple to navigate and state-of-the-art. We want the website visitor to easily grasp how this affordable software can dramatically improve their chances of project success.”
Quantitative risk analysis of project schedules starts with users entering a probability distribution for the duration of each uncertain task in the network. It proceeds by performing critical path calculations thousands of times, each time using a different set of samples from these distributions. This sounds time-consuming but with the right software it can be very fast. “Project risk analysis software, using our Monte Carlo simulation, allows users to estimate the chance of finishing a project by any particular date,” comments Welsh.
Barbecana also offers Schedule Inspector, schedule assessment software which identifies potential problems in project schedules. It includes all the tests in the DCMA 14-point schedule assessment guide.
Both Schedule Inspector and Full Monte can be downloaded for a free 30-day trial.
The new website can be visited at http://www.Barbecana.com or you can call Barbecana direct at 888-706-8789.
