New WORX AeroCart Plows Through Snow and Much More
Charlotte, N.C. (PRWEB) December 18, 2014 -- Unlike conventional wheelbarrows, AeroCart is perfectly balanced so loads lift and move easily. In fact, in test results, a 200 lb. load feels more like 17 lbs. Having two wheels beneath the load improves stability and alleviates side-to-side movement, which is common in conventional wheelbarrows.
“It’s the perfect holiday gift for the gardener, handyman, and family on the go,” said Jeanne White, Rockwell’s Senior Product Manager. “We’re months away before spring and for those in snow belt country, the optional snow plow accessory is a big help when it comes to moving snow from the drive, walkways and patio.”
AeroCart’s snow plow conversion transforms in seconds without the use of tools. To maximize leverage and control, the snow plow features three, adjustable height positions when attached to the AeroCart. The 26 in.W snow plow (WA0230, $49.99) is constructed of high-impact resin with a galvanized steel edge strip to carve through snow. When not in use, the 4.8 lb. snow plow can be conveniently stored.
Transform AeroCart into a four-wheeled wagon with the wagon conversion kit (WAO228, $79.99). This optional accessory includes a seat that straddles AeroCart’s bed and serves as a handy work station. Among other, it brings the user closer to ground level to work in beds for planting and weeding. The kit also includes a tool storage tray and cup holder. Like AeroCart’s tires, the wagon’s two flat-free tires never need inflating.
AeroCart’s narrow 22 in. width fits through fence gates and front doors to transport furniture, totes, boxes, refrigerators (up to 300 lbs.) and even demolition debris.
Converting from a wheelbarrow to a hand truck is quick and easy. Pull the release knob on the side of the cart and fold the legs until they lock in place. Pull the dolly plate at the base of the cart to the right and fold down until it locks in place
The multi-purpose cart includes several accessories, including a cylinder dolly for transporting water jugs and propane tanks. Drop-down extension arms move logs and bags of dirt or mulch. A cinch strap with a set of steel rings helps secure planters for transport. A mesh sling is provided to carry landscape rocks and boulders.
The cart also is equipped with a bag holder that steadies paper refuse bags. Attaching a receiving ball hitch (1-7/8-in. or 2-in. ball not included) enables AeroCart to jockey empty boat, personal watercraft, snowmobile, ATV or motorcycle trailers up to 1,000 lbs.
AeroCart’s tubular steel, powder-coated frame and drop down extension arms are durable and long lasting. The frame wraps around the steel, 3-cu.-ft. capacity wheelbarrow tub. Two removable steel extension handles with foam-padded grips provide mobility for transport and storage.
The cart’s overall dimensions in dolly mode are 58-in.H x 22-in.W x 19-in.D. In wheelbarrow mode, the cart is 19-in.H x 22-in.W x 58-in.L. The multi-purpose cart supports loads up to 300 lbs. in wheelbarrow and hand truck configurations.
The WORX AeroCart (WG050, $159.99) and optional Snow Plow and Wagon Conversion Kit accessories are available through http://www.worx.com and Homedepot.com and Amazon.com.
