New Xulon Poetry Book Provides Encouragement And Inspiration
Oceanside, CA (PRWEB) December 23, 2015 -- Within the pages of John L. Givens’ new book, Poetry In the Spirit - Inspiration at your point of need..., ($8.99, paperback, 9781624190117; $4.49, e-book, 9781624192302) readers will be enlightened by a collection of poems written by the author – a former Marine Senior Drill Instructor and Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. A poem a day may not keep the doctor away, but thumbing through the pages of this book will encourage your heart. The author will tell you that he never had a poetic bone in his body, before the Holy Spirit woke him up one day and said, “encourage my people through poetry that I will give you in the Spirit.” John began to write as the Spirit directed him, sometimes with rhyme and sometimes just an encouraging word or dream.
“I hope the reader finds spiritual enrichment within the pages of this book, because it speaks to the heart,” states the author. “I learned a long time ago that a poem should not ‘mean’ but ‘be’ and each one of these poems or expressions is a dose of life ‘FINE’ – Feelings Inside Not Expressed.”
