New York Special Event Permitting Agency Recently Secured Permits and Location for UGG Australia Event in Manhattan

On Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, 2014, UGG Australia parked an igloo-themed mobile marketing truck on 7th Avenue. This street event offered passersby complimentary hot chocolate and featured a pop-up shop showcasing and selling UGG’s winter accessories such as hats, scarves, gloves, mittens and earmuffs.
The marketing truck, named the UGG Warming Truck, was branded with UGG Australia’s Twitter handle and custom social hashtag, #UGGTruck. The truck itself served hot chocolate to passersby. An adjacent pop-up tent next to the truck showcased UGG winter accessories which were also available for purchase.
EventPermits worked to secure the location near Penn Station. The truck was parked on 7th Avenue between West 30th and 33rd Streets. In addition, EventPermits coordinated the event logistics, and secured both parking and health permits for the truck and hot chocolate distribution. Security was coordinated by EventPermits and provided by Marty Barnes Security.
