Unlike standard home ice makers, the ClearIce40 makes perfectly clear ice instead of cloudy, white ice. The difference lies in its design, which passes water over cooling coils quickly to remove tiny air bubbles. Because clear ice has less air in it, it also melts more slowly, making the machine more efficient for users.
