Newly Published Book, ‘Type “S”uperWoman,’ Gives Focus to Complex Lives
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) November 26, 2013 -- Having felt the rewards of helping over-tasked women with a popular workshop, Dr. Jaime Kulaga wants to spread mindfulness for women with her new book, “Type ‘S’uperWoman – Finding the Work-Life Balance: A Self-Searching Book for Women.”
“I’m a lucky woman in that I’m doing exactly what I want professionally – and I realize just how much of me this takes up; sadly, most women do not realize how much of them is occupied when they take on one of many roles in their lives,” says Dr. Kulaga, who makes a point to promote mindfulness for women, who often just do not know how to say “no.”
“I wrote this book for the women who put smiles on their faces, shake their heads ‘yes,’ even though their minds say ‘no,’ and then go into the bathroom to cry. It is my hope that this book will provide women seeking Life fulfillment with the tools necessary to help them control their own lives, make better decisions and find happiness.”
As a practicing Therapist and Life Coach, Dr. Kulaga focuses on individuals, couples and business groups, but she has also noticed a special need to target help for women, who almost always define themselves by what they do for others, but not themselves.
“My first focus in introducing mindfulness for women is paring down the sheer amount of positions they assume – from the good wife to career woman to chauffeur – your sister, spouse, mother and best friend tend to say yes to an exponential amount of jobs than is recommended,” she says. “There is plenty of talk about women who ‘want it all’ – I think we can have it all, if we focus on what is really important and narrow the list of roles down to a manageable number.”
Similar to Dr. Kulaga’s workshops, her new book immediately addresses a woman’s long list of roles and details the intimate process of whittling down a lifestyle to those things that matter the most, including a woman’s well-being.
