NewNet’s Krypton RCS Messaging Product Family is built around NewPace’s rcsConnect Application Server compliant with the GSMA RCS 5.1 standards. The software can be deployed by Mobile Operators to implement the GSMA 'joyn' product suite, add RCS functionality to 3G/4G/LTE networks, offer their own competitive Over-The-Top Messaging services, build a messaging service for VoLTE deployments as they migrate from SMS, and is compatible with the IMS Interworking capabilities of NewNet’s Lithium IP Short Message Gateway products.
The combination of NewPace’s rcsConnect and NewNet’s messaging products provides a technology roadmap for operators to migrate to an all IP messaging platform. The system is designed so that mobile operators can deploy RCS with or without an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and with the ability to transition from SMS into an RCS environment.
