NewsWatch Recently Featured “Little Lost Note,” A Reading Application for Children, on National Television as Part of The Monthly AppWatch
Washington, DC (PRWEB) April 18, 2014 -- “Little Lost Note”, a mobile reading application for children was featured on NewsWatch as part of its popular segment, AppWatch, that takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications and services on the iOS, Android, and Windows market. Andrew Tropeano, the host of AppWatch, conducted the review and shared with viewers how the app teaches children to read, play musical instruments, and enjoy personal triumphs.
Little Lost Note is a touching story about a musical note that’s looking for her missing instrument. Children follow her as she makes new discoveries, meets friends, and explores her world. The story teaches children to read, play musical instruments, but also to enjoy personal triumphs and the world around them.
The app can either read the entire narration, or let the child read it on their own. The images that the note strolls through are not only interactive, but also all hand drawn. At the top left of the screen, there’s a few “z’s” that represent night time mode. Parents that are reading to children often experience their child falling asleep. As they nod off, parents can click it and the app dims, speaks quietly and slowly, and goes through the storyline twice, approximately 14 minutes.
The app is available for the iPad and iPhone and costs $2.99. To download it, head to the store and search “Little Lost Note” or visit http://www.boxoffrogsmedia.com.
