NewsWatch Recently Featured the “WritePad” App on National Television as Part of the MacWorld 2014 Wrap Up
Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 21, 2014 -- "WritePad” was featured on NewsWatch as part of its annual MacWorld Wrap Up. Mallory Sofastaii, a host of NewsWatch and technology expert, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how it allow users to write with their finger or stylus on their phone instead of pushing buttons.
With all the advances in voice recognition, it’s no surprise there’s been major advances in handwriting recognition as well. Users with a touch screen tablet or phone need an app that can convert handwritten notes to text.
WritePad and WritePad Pro allow users to write with their finger or stylus on a phone instead of pushing buttons. The app then translates it into text and saves the document as an HTML, Text, RTF, or DOC file that can be viewed on any computer or device.
The apps have a self-learning adaptive handwriting recognition engine, so the more a user writes, the more accurate the translations are. WritePad Pro can translate up to 16 different languages using Bing Translator and allows users to insert multimedia like photos, emojis, and even drawings from the sketch feature.
The app is also great for sharing files. Once a file is saved, users can share it through most of the major cloud storage sites like iCloud, Dropbox, Box, or Google Drive or send it out on social sites like Facebook or Twitter.
The two versions, the regular and Pro, are available for iOS devices. To download either, visit https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/writepad/id293033512?mt=8.
