NewWOW Announces 2013 New Ways of Working Benchmarking Study
Los Gatos, CA (PRWEB) July 01, 2013 -- New Ways of Working (NewWOW), a member organization focused on alternative workplace solutions, today launches its New Ways of Working Benchmarking Study. The biennial study, now in its fourth launch, will provide an overview of the state of alternative workplace programs at different companies, covering available alternative workplaces, distribution of alternative work categories, supporting equipment and services, business drivers, performance metrics, realized benefits, barriers, etc. It will also track the key trends that have become visible since the survey started. This should provide insight as to the robustness of certain trends and the fickleness of others as AWS programs become more mainstream and mature into common use.
The term “alternative workplace” means the combination of non-traditional work practices, settings, and locations that supplement or replace traditional offices, including remote and distributed work, third places, telework, among others
NewWOW’s previous survey, conducted in 2011, looked at alternative workplace practices in 106 organizations representing over a million employees. Click http://www.newwow.net/node/3695 to download a copy of the executive summary of the 2011 Benchmarking Survey results.
“The value of the benchmarking study continues to grow. Now in our fourth round, we are increasingly able to see trends over time,” says Jim Creighton, Director of New Ways of Working. “Also, the number of participants continues to grow, so we are more and more confident in the results.”
How to participate
Organizations interested in participating in the study, should follow this link: https://www.research.net/s/Q9GXXSW. Study participants will receive a detailed report of the survey results.
