Next Generation Legal Practice Management With HoudiniEsq 1.9.2

This revision of the very popular legal practice management suite HoudiniEsq includes a massive list of improved features and many new tools which help increase productivity. This update has been eagerly anticipated by many of HoudiniEsq's current users.
Some of the key features of this new release include a faster and more responsive interface which allows for quick searching and creation of important records. Dropdown fields can now be searched for specific values, and the Contacts list now shows critical contact data without having to pull up the entire record. Contact dashboard filtering options have also been improved. The Matter Dashboard can now be quickly filtered by Matter Type, and displays more information in a space-efficient manner. Custom field values searches have also been included. Support for the latest versions of Adobe Flash is included as well, providing for lightning-fast display of crucial data.
Several core features have also been revamped, including adding Related Parties, expanded Key Date support, a new easier-to-use Reports menu, and an enhanced time slot finder to quickly schedule your day. The Accounts Receivable dashboard is now more expansive and faster than ever. The update will also include the oft-request batch invoice printing feature within the built-in invoice module, allowing for attorneys to send out all their billing for an entire month at once. Matter records now include built-in litigation fields which include exposure info and amounts, and support for multiple types of firm representation (such as plaintiff, defendant etc) has also been added.
The new version also introduces several exciting new document-based features as well. Enhanced document support features includes a preview option in the Documents tab of current Matters. A brand-new Document Template format, ODT, now uses the revolutionary ESQ Smart Doc engine which allows for logic such as conditional statements within a document as well as dual-format creation (PDF or Word DOCX). A new Document Dashboard has been added, allowing for quick location of crucial case files at the touch of your fingers. A companion Outlook add-in update will also allow for documents to be attached to emails directly from HoudiniEsq as well.
Several new customization options are now also available. Labels can be applied to core fields, allowing you to redefine HoudiniEsq's base fields in whatever fashion you choose. Status Codes can now be created for Subtypes, adding a new layer of classification to the mix. Custom fields can now display horizontally, allowing for more efficient use of form space. Improved custom/supplemental forms can now be associated with a specific related party on a case. Additionally, custom fields can now auto-calculate based on user preferences. You can now add areas of expertise to your Contacts, and relate them to other contact records in the database (such as employees of a company) as well. Workflow automation now also allows you to send instant notifications to staff members when certain actions are performed in the system.
These new features already improve upon a powerful and intuitive application which is already helping attorneys and legal practices bill record amounts of time each day. Best of all, the update will be free of charge to all existing users, including Solo Practitioners.
