Next Health Announces Launch of Veri-Script, In-Office Program Designed to Generate Additional Physician Practice Revenue
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 23, 2015 -- Next Health, a Dallas-based ancillary medical service company announces the launch of Veri-Script, a new program that allows physicians to administer and dispense medications.
As part of an ongoing effort to help physicians enhance patient care while increasing practice revenue, Veri-Script provides a solution through office-based medication administration and dispensing. With this program, physicians can prescribe, administer and dispense an ideal in-practice formulary consisting of injectables, topical pain creams and pain patches in the most commonly ordered strengths and package sizes.
Out of 50 pain patients seen in a given day, half of them are potentially receiving a form of pain management injection. If a single injection kit billed through a patient’s prescription insurance generates $150.00 in added practice revenue, a total of $3,750 can be earned in just one day.
In the US, 44 states are allowed to participate in non-pharmacist dispensing — each of which have separate regulations that govern licensure. The remaining six states have various imposed restrictions or limitations. Whereas the state of Texas does not permit physician dispensing, it does allow physicians to administer medications in-office as part of a medical procedure.
