NEXT Teams up With Operation Independence to Support Troops Serving Overseas

Houston, TX (PRWEB) July 03, 2015 -- NEXT Financial Group Inc. (NEXT) worked with Operation Independence, a nationwide nonprofit organization that provides a means for community members to support troops on the frontlines, to collect supplies and letters of appreciation for those serving overseas.

In honor of Independence Day, NEXT’s home office employees donated items ranging from playing cards to non-perishable snacks such as sunflower seeds and beef jerky. In total, NEXT raised hundreds of dollars’ worth of supplies throughout the month of June.

“Every quarter, NEXT makes it a priority to perform an act of social responsibility as a company,” said Barry Knight, President of NEXT. “Knowing that we helped make a positive impact on the brave Americans serving our country, made this fundraiser particularly inspiring for our firm.”

The Houston based independent broker-dealer consistently offers opportunities for its employees to participate with charitable organizations, such as Operation Independence, to broaden the impact of NEXT. Past organizations that NEXT has collaborated with include Toys for Tots and The Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
