NFI Technicians Compete as Finalists in National Skills Competition
Cherry Hill, N.J. (PRWEB) September 22, 2015 -- NFI technicians, Jon Ford and Mike Dunfee, have qualified as finalists in the American Trucking Association (ATA) National Technician Skills Competition. Taking place at the Walt Disney Swan & Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Fla., the TMCSuperTech 2015 competition tests the skills and expertise of transportation maintenance professionals.
Ford and Dunfee have advanced to the second round of the contest, competing against 119 of their peers from across the U.S. Technician, Todd Dexter, from NFI also participated in the initial round of competition. “This competition features the best of the best in the transportation industry,” says Bill Bliem, SVP of Fleet Services at NFI. “We are proud to send three of our finest technicians to represent NFI. TMCSuperTech 2015 kicked off on September 21 in Orlando, Fla. with 147 registered technicians. After a tough round of qualifying challenges, NFI’s Ford and Dunfee were selected to move on to Tuesday’s Finals.
