NFL Legend Randy Cross Undergoes LASIK Eye Surgery at the Atlanta Vision Institute
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) April 30, 2015 -- Football analyst for 92.9 The Game and former offensive lineman for the San Francisco 49ers, Randy Cross recently had LASIK eye surgery for vision correction at the Atlanta Vision Institute. Cross was recommended to Dr. Farooq Ashraf of the Atlanta Vision Institute by his CBS radio producer Bo Morgan, who had previously undergone LASIK at the Atlanta Vision Institute with exceptional results. The laser used to execute Cross’s procedure is known as the iFS™ Advanced Femtosecond Laser. The Atlanta Vision Institute was one of the first LASIK centers in the country to utilize this bladeless technology, which provides greater safety and comfort for patients, as well as increased chances of correcting patients’ vision to 20/20 or better. Dr. Ashraf takes pride in always staying abreast of the latest research, obtaining the newest lasers and technologies that will offer patients the very best options in vision correction.
Over the years, Randy Cross has been a member of the CBS radio sports team 92.9 covering NFC playoffs, as well as serving as a game analyst for various outlets, including the NFL Today, the US Naval Academy Games, CBS College Sports TV and the New England Patriots pre-season games. Currently, Cross co-hosts “The Morning Show” on WZGC 92-9 The Game, a CBS radio broadcast station in Atlanta, Georgia.
“All I can say is why did I wait so long?” said Cross after his LASIK procedure. “I read every piece of information they had, because I want the best technology, they got it...I wanted to be able to relate to and talk to directly with doctor, and Dr. Ashraf is fantastic to deal with. And I want a provider that can also help my whole family with eye needs, not just LASIK, and that’s the Atlanta Vision Institute.”
