About the Author
Nicholas Snow – the pen name of N. Kyriazis – took his Ph.D. at Bonn University, was a visiting professor at Harvard and Trier University and is currently a professor of economics at the University of Thessaly, Central Greece. He previously worked as the Directorate General for Research of the European Parliament, advisor to the government of the National Bank of Greece, advisor to the minister of finance and secretary general of public administration. He is currently a member of the board for Alpha-Trust-Andromeda Investment Fund, vice president of Ergoman Telecommunications, Black Orange and the Kostas Kyriazis Foundation. He speaks English, French and German fluently and also speaks Spanish well. He has 17 novels published in Greece and three in English. In 2005 the president of the French Republic honored him with France’s highest decoration, the Knight of the Legion of Honour.
Guy Feaux de la Croix of French origin has studied law at the universities of Bonn and Geneva. He served as a diplomat in German embassies in Tokyo, the Hague, Paris, Warsaw, Athens and Rome, where until June, 2012, he was German Minister to the Holy See-Vatican. He is a painter and sculptor and has been curated for a number of exhibitions in Berlin, Athens, Shanghai, Beijing and Rome.
