Nike Junior Camp Directors Named to Golf Digest Best Teachers List

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (PRWEB) January 31, 2018 -- Golf Digest recently announced their coveted “Best Teachers by State” list which is created from the collective results of a biennial survey sent to more than 1,000 teachers across the U.S. Since the review’s creation in 2000, the states’ list is derived from the “50 Best Teachers in America” review, which is traditionally comprised of successful professionals who work with the top PGA Tour players. The “Best Teachers by State” list, however, provides a greater deal of insight to the young, emerging teaching professionals taking the golf world by storm.

“The states list is amazing. It provides well-deserved national recognition to our instructors who work so hard to provide the best instructional experiences for their young students,” says Westy McQueen of Nike Junior Golf Camps. “Winning this accolade is no small feat and we are very proud to call many of these nominees our camp directors.”

Nike Junior Golf Camps recently counted 20 of their camp directors and coaches on the list, receiving mentions in 15 different states. Notable mentions in highly competitive states include NJGC National Director of Instruction, Jeff Ritter (#8 in California), Jason Guss (#1 in Michigan), George Connor (#2 in Connecticut) and Todd Sones (#3 in Illinois).

“Many of the fast-rising and new members of the group are building their reputations and profiles in different and less-traditional ways—from short-game and coaching specialization to scientific research and reaching the masses through social media,” says Golf Digest.
